How to Add a New Article
1. Register a new account or login with your existing one.
2. Access the Writing Panel using either link on the header or sidebar.
3. Fill in all the fields:
a. Title
b. Article: If it’s an interview, please format the questions with the bold button.
c. Additional information:
Image is optional, but if the article has one, please use it. Just upload from your hard drive or paste the URL in the correct field.
Source is required, but not the URL. However, if it’s an online article, a source URL must be included.
Date is not required, but for accuracy purposes it’s best if included.
4. Categories: Select ONLY ONE category. Articles for general pieces, interviews is self-explanatory, and if you’re not sure, just click other.
5. Tags: Please always use tags! It’s helpful to find articles to read when you’re looking for a specific subject. But don’t overuse them. Year, projects mentioned, (important) people mentioned… those are good tags.
Also, PLEASE NOTE: Make sure the article you’re about to post isn’t already in the archive. A really easy way to check is using the search option, right up there in the sidebar. Type in a few words from your article to see if it’s already here!
When you’ve checked everything and you’re ready, click Publish. And that’s it! Your post will take a while to appear on the site, as we review all posts before making them public.
