I even would ask my mom to buy me stuffed animals that looked sad because I felt bad for them. When I was about 10, I found a box of kittens someone had left on the beach. GLEE star LEA MICHELE is putting off plans to follow her TV co-stars MATTHEW MORRISON and MARK SALLING into the music industry by releasing her own album, because she’s not ready to make such a “big commitment”.

The singer/actress, who has shown off her powerful vocals on Broadway as well as on the hit TV musical, admits she would love to one day record a disc of her own songs, but she would need enough time to nurture the project from start to finish.

Could Glee star Lea Michele try defying gravity on the big screen? Maybe so says Wicked composer Stephen Schwartz about plans for the film adaptation of his smash hit musical.

“Lea Michele is fantastic,” Schwartz told Broadway.com, “and it’d be silly to say she wouldn’t be under consideration [for the role of Elphaba].”

Schwartz also revealed to Broadway.com that the movie version may require audiences to put on 3D glasses to see the witches of Oz fly.

Lou Adler has announced the full lineup for “The Rocky Horror Picture Show Tribute” Oct. 28 at the Wiltern Theater in Los Angeles.Evan Rachel Wood, Mario Lopez, Jorge Garcia, Julian McMahon, Ricki Lake and Melora Hardin will join previously-announced thesps Danny DeVito, Billy Idol, Lea Michele and Matthew Morrison for the tribute and costume ball.

Kenny Ortega will direct with Adler and Kevin Duncan producing.
